IntroFlow questions, answered

How referral programmes are launched, how revenue is verified and when fees and rewards are approved.

Getting started

What is a business referral programme?
A business referral programme is a structured way to invite people to recommend a business and to reward them when those recommendations lead to paid revenue. IntroFlow runs this as one programme across buying, booking, quote requests and direct introductions.
What is IntroFlow?
IntroFlow helps businesses launch and run referral programmes that connect trusted recommendations to verified collected revenue.
Who is IntroFlow for?
It is designed for businesses that grow through customers, partners, suppliers and professional introductions, including ecommerce, bookings, agencies and relationship-led services.
Do we need to replace our website, checkout or sales process?
No. Your business keeps its existing website, booking system, checkout, sales process and customer relationships. IntroFlow sits around the existing journey.
How long does it take to launch a programme?
Setup depends on your business model and reward structure. The rules are agreed before launch and then applied consistently.
Do I need to change my checkout or booking process?
No. Customers continue to buy, book or subscribe through the journey you already use.
Will my team need to change how it works?
No. Your team continues its current sales, quoting and invoicing process. IntroFlow records the referral, confirms the revenue and handles the reward.
Does IntroFlow work with my current website?
Yes. IntroFlow is designed to work around the website, checkout, booking and sales processes you already use.
Do I need to give accounting access?
Commerce programmes do not require changes to the checkout or booking journey. Quote and Introduction programmes use a read-only accounting connection to confirm qualifying revenue collected.

How referrals work

What referral journeys does IntroFlow support?
Three: Buy or book, Request a quote and Direct introduction. A referrer can share an IntroLink for someone to buy, book or request a quote, or make a direct introduction through normal conversation.
What is Buy or book?
It covers purchases, bookings, orders and subscriptions completed through the business’s existing online journey. Revenue is confirmed automatically through the completed checkout or booking.
What is Request a quote?
It covers online enquiries that progress through a quote, invoice and collected revenue. The business keeps its normal enquiry and quoting process, and the revenue is matched during reconciliation.
What is a Direct introduction?
It is a personal referral made through email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn or normal business conversation. No referral link is required, and the business keeps its usual sales process.
Who can join a referral programme?
A business can invite customers, partners, suppliers, creators, ambassadors, advisers and other trusted contacts. The business decides who is eligible.
Can creators and commercial partners join a programme?
Yes. Businesses can invite creators, publishers, ambassadors and other commercial partners alongside customers, suppliers and professional contacts.
Is IntroFlow an affiliate network?
No. IntroFlow does not operate an open marketplace or recruit creators on behalf of businesses. Each business owns its programme, chooses who can join and sets its own commercial terms.
Can one programme include both creators and customers?
Yes. Different referrers can use different sharing journeys within the same programme.
How do creator referrals work?
Creators and partners share tracked IntroLinks that lead to the business's existing purchase, booking or quote journey.
How do referrers share a recommendation?
Referrers choose a business from their Intro List, select what they want to share and send it through WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, Messages, QR or copy link.
How do direct introductions work?
IntroFlow prepares a natural introduction with the relevant contact details and suggested wording. The referrer sends it through email, WhatsApp or LinkedIn in the usual way. This route does not need a tracked link.
Does the recipient know the referrer may be rewarded?
Yes. Programmes are set up to disclose that a referral relationship exists, in line with the business's own legal and advertising obligations. IntroFlow does not support hidden or undisclosed commercial arrangements.
Can a referrer join more than one programme?
Yes. A referrer can keep multiple trusted businesses in one Intro List and take part in more than one programme through the same account.

Tracking and verification

How does monthly revenue reconciliation work?
When Quote or Introduction referrals are ready to review, the business runs revenue reconciliation in one click. IntroFlow prepares the matches and rewards, and the business approves, adjusts or rejects the result. No action is required where there are no referrals to reconcile.
Does IntroFlow continuously access my accounting records?
No. There is no always-on accounting sync or continuous monitoring. Quote and Introduction revenue is checked through a one-click reconciliation that the business chooses to run and approve.
Can IntroFlow work with my current checkout or booking system?
Yes. For Buy or book journeys, customers complete your existing checkout or booking. There is no checkout rebuild and no new process for your team.
Can IntroFlow work with quote and invoice-led businesses?
Yes. For Request a quote and Direct introduction journeys, you keep your enquiry, quote and invoice process. Revenue is checked through monthly reconciliation and approved by the business.
How does IntroFlow track purchases, bookings and quote requests?
The recipient follows an IntroLink to the business's existing website. IntroFlow captures the successful confirmation state and connects it to the original referral.
Does the customer need to enter a booking or order reference?
No. The Buy or book journey is designed to capture confirmation automatically, without the customer returning to enter details manually.
How are direct introductions tracked?
IntroFlow records the introduction when the referrer uses the prepared sharing flow. The resulting opportunity and collected revenue are then confirmed by the business.
When does a referral become verified?
A referral is verified when the agreed qualifying event has occurred and the associated revenue has been collected and confirmed.
How is Buy or book revenue verified?
Buy or book revenue is verified when the customer completes the checkout, booking, order or subscription journey. No accounting reconciliation is required.
How are Request a quote and Direct introduction referrals verified?
IntroFlow prompts the business to run a monthly revenue reconciliation. One click checks the relevant accounting period, finds likely matches and calculates the rewards.
Are rewards approved automatically?
Commerce rewards can be prepared from the confirmed transaction. Quote and Introduction matches are reviewed and approved by the business before fulfilment.
What happens if there are no referrals to reconcile?
Nothing. The business does not need to run a reconciliation.
What does the referrer see?
The referrer sees status updates as soon as the referral is confirmed or the business completes its review.
Does IntroFlow continuously monitor accounting records?
No. Accounting records are checked only when the business runs revenue reconciliation for Quote or Introduction referrals.
What happens if the customer was already known to the business?
Existing customers, opportunities, partners and excluded relationships should be defined before launch. IntroFlow applies those agreed rules when validating referrals.
What happens if two people refer the same customer?
The programme's attribution rules are agreed before launch, and IntroFlow applies that defined rule to the available evidence.

Rewards and pricing

Does IntroFlow pay the referrer?
IntroFlow fulfils the approved reward once qualifying revenue is verified and collected. The reward is funded by the business, and IntroFlow processes the financial reward or arranges the premium gift.
How much does IntroFlow cost?
There is no monthly platform fee. IntroFlow earns an agreed share only when verified referral revenue is collected.
Who funds the referrer reward?
The business funds the reward and agrees the structure before the programme launches.
What types of reward can we offer?
Rewards can be a percentage, fixed payment, capped share, account credit or another agreed benefit that fits the relationship.
When is the reward approved?
The reward is approved after qualifying revenue has been collected and verified.
What happens if revenue is refunded or cancelled?
Fees and rewards are adjusted in line with the programme rules where qualifying revenue is later refunded, cancelled or reversed.
Can rewards apply to recurring revenue?
Yes, where agreed. The programme can define a set period, a cap or another clear recurring-revenue rule before launch.
What reward models can we choose?
You can reward a percentage of a verified transaction, a percentage of first-year collected revenue, or a premium gift from the IntroFlow Rewards Marketplace. Different rules can apply by referral route or referrer group.
Who fulfils premium gifts?
IntroFlow arranges fulfilment for approved rewards selected through the IntroFlow Rewards Marketplace, from selection through to delivery and confirmation. Your team does not source or manage gifts.
How does the earnings calculator estimate results?
It uses a cautious referral funnel across the people who could realistically recommend you, how actively the programme is run and your first-year customer value. Results are shown as illustrative ranges, not guarantees.
Who should I count in the earnings calculator?
Only customers, partners and professional contacts who know your work well enough to make a credible recommendation. Do not include your full CRM, newsletter list or social audience.

Programme controls

Can a business reject a referral?
Yes. During review the business can confirm, adjust or reject each result before any reward is approved.
What does the referrer see?
Referrers see the status of their referrals and rewards after the business has reviewed them, so they know when a reward has been approved and fulfilled.
Can we choose who is allowed to refer?
Yes. Each business controls eligibility and can run an invited, private or approved programme.
Can we set exclusions and reward caps?
Yes. Exclusions, caps, qualifying revenue and attribution periods are agreed before the programme launches.
Can we run different programmes for different audiences?
Yes. A business can use different programme structures where customer groups, partners or reward terms genuinely differ.
Can we change the programme after launch?
Yes, but changes apply going forward and should not alter the agreed terms of existing referrals without clear notice.
Can businesses invite other businesses to join?
Yes. Businesses can invite trusted companies and contacts to join their programme, and those businesses may also launch their own or request to join other relevant programmes.
What reporting is included?
Businesses can see referrals, opportunities, verified collected revenue, rewards and payment status.
